We start with what I think is the most fun by looking back at the year that passed in music, the new bands and their debut albums. As there are unfortunately only 24 hours in a day, I can only manage to listen to a fraction of all the fantastic music that is released each year.
Here are some of the rock and metal debut albums I've enjoyed listening to this year. Feel free to comment and supplement with albums I've missed.
The albums are not arranged in any way and they can all be listened to from start to finish, if you want a little diversion, throw them into a play list and put it on random or click on one of the bottoms for Tidal or Spotify playlist.
In addition to a multitude of fantastic debut records, the year naturally also featured old acquaintances who released new albums. Again, I have to say that time is just too short to listen to all these fantastic albums, so I've definitely missed a lot, but on the other hand, I think it's a privilege that so much super cool rock and metal is being made that you can't manage to hear it all.
I have collected some of the albums I have listened to the most, which are both soft rock, NWOTHM, thrash and span most of the metal genres.
