I had agreed to pick up some friends in Zurich, a trip of approx. 300 km. I still had a few days until they had to be picked up, but I could tell myself that I was getting worn out, so I decided to drive a little closer to Zurich and try to find a cheap motorhome place, as I wanted to rest my legs for the next few days and then there was no reason to spend money on a camping pitch for DKK 250 per person. per day.
50 km. from Zürich I found this car park outside the restaurant Raten, which had no service but the restaurant, but on the other hand it was free except on weekends when it cost DKK 40 per night. It rained from morning to night for the next few days, so I got a good rest. I did, however, go for a few walks between the rain showers. I have often wondered about going on a hike and the desire did not diminish from these walks.
The day before my departure for Zurich, the sun shone again, as it had during the whole trip, so I decided to cycle for a short ride, where I could once again simply state that Switzerland is incomparable, no matter where you look, it is like looking down at the postcards we once so cheerfully sent to friends and family.
